"Red Letter Media @ Chicago Comic Con!" is a promotional short featuring the cast of film review web series Half in the Bag, released between episodes 12 and 13 of the first season. The short advertises Red Letter Media's appearance at the 2011 Wizard World Chicago convention,[1] and aired August 5, 2011 exclusively on YouTube.[2][3]
In this short, Mike and Jay promote their appearance at the 2011 Wizard World Chicago convention and discuss whether they would ever attend the convention in a recreational capacity.
Plot[]
While squatting at Mr. Plinkett's house, Mike and Jay announce their participation in the 2011 Wizard World Chicago convention, where they will be selling DVDs and posters in booth 647B. They briefly discuss other notable celebrities appearing at the convention. Jay asks if Mike would ever go as an attendee, but Mike dismisses this idea outright. Mr. Plinkett bursts in, cosplaying as several different superhero characters, but somberly announces that he will visit his oncologist due to his cancer.
