Previously Recorded is an American review web series created by Rich Evans, Jessi Nakles, and Jack Packard revolving around video games, and is the successor to Game Station 2.0. Hosted by Rich Evans and Jack Packard, the show features discussion-based reviews of a wide variety of video games. In addition to review episodes, the Previously Recorded team have introduced weekly live streams on Twitch that often feature the extended Red Letter Media crew. The series aired from April 15, 2014 to July 27, 2018.[1]
Unlike other Red Letter Media releases, Previously Recorded and its live streams are released under the "Red Letter Media presents..." banner. Mike Stoklasa and Jay Bauman, who have edited all releases apart from Mr. Plinkett: The Animated Series, have little creative input on the series. Instead, Packard serves as showrunner and maintains the YouTube channel and Nakles handled production until 2015. The show's format departs from the formula established in Game Station 2.0, Half in the Bag, and Best of the Worst by forgoing the framing skits.
In the series, Rich Evans and Jack Packard play and discuss different games at the Red Letter Media studio. Episodes were released on the Red Letter Media YouTube channel until a dedicated Previously Recorded channel was launched on July 13, 2014.
