The first season of movie review series Half in the Bag originally aired from March 11, 2011 to November 20, 2011 on the RedLetterMedia site. Truncated episodes were released on the Machininma channel. Episodes grew in length as the series progressed and focused on newly released movies, cult classics, fan conventions, local Milwaukee culture, and original RedLetterMedia productions. Many collaborators from previous RedLetterMedia productions make guest appearances.
The show revolves around Mike and Jay, two unscrupulous VCR repairmen, who scam the elderly Mr. Plinkett by pretending to fix his VCR.
